| Catamarans International - Joint Ventures |
| Catamarans International has developed a business model based around having their Catamarans built in joint ventures in New Zealand and Internationally with those that have areas of expertise or already have existing factory and marketing capability. The joint venture program commenced with the contracting of Northland Contract Boatbuilders in Whangarei, New Zealand to carry out the majority of the plug and mould making work. This is set to continue with Northland Contract Boatbuilders also producing the first composite vessels out of the moulds. Multiple sets of mould tooling will be produced and shipped to companies around the world for international manufacture. This will widen the market penetration and share the considerable cost of development associated with research, design and marine plug and mould making. Companies entering joint ventures with Catamarans International will gain access to the latest world class, state of the art vessels that have already started production. The time frame from design to completing the moulds and then building the vessel is a major factor in getting a return on your investment. Joint ventures with Catamarans International will slash that lead time. Costs of marketing and sales material will also be shared allowing more resources to go into advertising. In many cases companies entering joint ventures may have the use of a demonstrator vessel for boat show display from Catamarans International to allow sales to commence in line with production starting. Joint ventures with Catamarans International are available in a range of options ranging from completing hull and decks to joint ownership of moulds or building under license. Contact Catamarans International to see how a joint venture could be of benefit to your company. |
