Catamarans International Shared Ownership Options
Charter and Private use
Those involved with Catamarans International have over 40 years combined experience in the charter industry and also have considerable experience in operating shared ownership schemes. This experience has been used to put together some very attractive shared ownership packages.
Private Use / Shared Ownership
Private / shared ownership is a great scheme for those wanting the advantage of owning and enjoying a new Catamaran without having to pay for the total capital cost of the vessel.
Vessel operating costs are shared between the owners which further reduces the cost of ownership.
In the private use ownership options of 2 x 50% shares, and 4 x 25% shares are available. The vessel is not available for charter. Use of the vessel is listed in a set format per month. If you do not use your days they are able to be swapped between other partners in the vessel.
Depending on the vessel size and its type the private ownership scheme could include Pacific Island use during the New Zealand winter months if all owners wanted to enjoy that option.
Shared Charter Ownership Scheme
Ownership options of 2 x 50% shares, and 4 x 25% shares are available in the shared Charter ownership option.
Use of the vessel is listed in a set format per year with a percentage of days allocated for charter. If you do not use your allocated days they would then be able to be used for charter and be credited to the owner that gave up their allocated time. This will increase the charter revenue to those individuals who use the vessel less for personal use.
The shared charter ownership scheme has options for skippered only charters or for bareboat options depending on vessel size, type and ownership preferences.
Depending on the vessel size and its type the shared charter ownership scheme could include Pacific Island use during the New Zealand winter months if all owners wanted to enjoy that option.
We currently have a number of charter companies wanting to have our boats join their fleets.
